ISIAME2024

ISIAME (International Symposium on the Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect) has been held every four years. This Conference originates from “Industrial Applications for the Mössbauer Effect”, organized by Prof. John G. Stevens and Prof. Gary J. Long as one of the symposia of PACCHEM’84 (Honolulu, 1984). Four years later, Prof. Massimo Carbucicchio succeeded the “mind” of this symposium to organize the first ISIAME of the present style in Parma (1988). ISIAME focuses on the industrial applications of Mössbauer Spectroscopy (MS), which was succeeded by Prof. Yoji NAKAMURA in Otsu (1992); Prof. Polack in Johannesburg (1996); Prof. Cook in Virginia Beach (2000); Prof.  Marco in Madrid (2004); Prof. Kuzmann in Budapest (2008); Prof. Zhang in Dalian (2012); Prof. Krish Bharuth-Ram in Cape Town (2016), and Prof. Libor Machala in Olomouć (2022).

It is expected that all the colleagues and friends could enjoy the Conference, talks, Japanese foods, and culture at the end of summer of 2024 in southwest Japan.

ISIAME2024 is being held under the sponsorship of Kitakyushu Convention and Visitors Association. This Conference is supported by Japan Mössbauer Spectroscopy Forum.
