ISIAME 2024
International Symposium
on the Industrial Applications
of the Mössbauer Effect
(Flyer_ISIAME2024)
Date: September 1-5, 2024
Venue: Kitakyushu International Conference Center (KICC), Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan
Many thanks to all the presenters and participants. ISIAME 2024 was successfully completed with your help and support. We look forward to seeing you at the next ISIAME 2028.
ISIAME has been held every four years. This conference originates from a symposium of ”Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect” which was organized by Prof. John G. Stevens at the occasion of PACCHEM’84 (Honolulu, 1984). Four years later, Prof. Massimo Carbucicchio succeeded the "mind" of this symposium to organize the first ISIAME of the present style in Parma (1988). ISIAME focuses on the industrial applications of Mössbauer Spectroscopy (MS), which was succeeded to Otsu (1992), Johannesburg (1996), Virginia Beach (2000), Madrid (2004), Budapest (2008), Dalian (2012), Cape Town (2016), and Olomouc (2022).
ISIAME 2024 has been authorized as a formal member of ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association):
We expect all of the participants could enjoy the Conference, discussion, Japanese culture, and Japanese foods in the southwest of Japan in 2024.
ISIAME2024 is being held under the sponsorship of Kitakyushu Convention and Visitors Association. This Conference is supported by Japan Mössbauer Spectroscopy Forum.
Conference Topics
Fifteen topics cover industrial applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy (MS), including potential ones and feasibility studies. We expect ISIAME2024 will bring force new opportunities of collaborations by colleagues and industry peoples. Also, we wish this Conference could motivate "younger" colleagues who are going to utilize MS in their present and future studies.
